		<description>Hey man!... the code worked great!... although it did not get an accurate resolution in my HP L2245wg monitor!... it does display everything I do need,... and besides the fact that some adjustments to the nvidia x server display confg was required... everything came great1... THanks</description>

glad it  helped.  I agree about the need for a GUI, the existing System &gt; Preferences &gt; Screen Resolution applet  also failed to pick up the two monitors (and still doesn&#039;t even after applying this fix).</description>
